The instant pot makes the cabbage so flavorful and has the perfect texture! Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 6 minutes Time to come to pressure 15 minutes Total Time 31 minutes Ingredients: 1 head of cabbage chopped into 1-inch pieces ½ cup butter unsalted 1 cup chicken broth or water (the broth was so tasty) Salt & fresh ground pepper Instructions: Add chicken broth and butter into an instant pot insert. Add chopped cabbage to the top. Close the lid, ensuring that the valve is set to “Sealing” Cook on high pressure for 6 minutes. Once done, press Cancel on Instant Pot. Quick release by slowly moving the valve to “Venting.” Once all pressure is released, open the lid. Stir cabbage. Season with salt and fresh ground pepper to taste.
For a firmer cabbage cut time down to 5 minutes. I added a bit more butter because I love buttery cabbage!
